the prevailing
idealism and individualism of most petit-bourgeois radicals
and infantile
leftists.
Even within its own genre this must rank as a gem. For many
of us, the first thing that ever gave us the faintest
inkling that something was wrong with the legacy of Lenin
was the sheer ugliness of the language it gave birth to. Who
says aesthetics isn't politically significant then?
