Super typhoon lashes Taiwan, heads for China (news item for August 22nd). A Super Hurricane or Typhoon is one in which the wind speed measures greater than 150 MPH. It seems to me that the number of "Super" storms has increased over the last few years, does anyone know where data can be gathered for this information? It would seem to be relevant to the Global Warming Issue.
