Nestor, your article about the Argentine Foreign Debt, and the recent
Argentine court decision about the illegality of the proceedings is
extremely illuminating.

Especially informative is how you have broken down the cost to the
individual of imperialism's war against the Argentine people.

A typcal worker with family earning $400 monthly, without a raise since
1988, now should be earning $530 to just have the same purchasing power.
But instead has monthly INTEREST payments on the national debt of $112
hanging over the family's heads.

Who receives those payments?
<el Bank of America, Republik Bank of Dallas, Citibank, Banco de Boston,
Chase Manhatann Bank, Lloyds Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Citicorp, Marine
Midland Bank, Banco Mundial, Unin de Bancos rabes y Franceses,
Banco de la Sociedad Financiera Europea, D.G. Bank, Banco Europeo de
Crdito, Unin de Bancos Suizos, Banco di Roma y Banco de la
Nacin Argentina.>

(El asunto era muy "pesado" porque involucraba a los poderosos y reales
dueos de nuestro pas: grandes bancos extranjeros, FMI, Banco
Mundial, grandes empresas multinacionales, unos 10 grupos econmicos
argentinos enormes, y un equipo numeroso de altos funcionarios del
Proceso Militar.)

This moneyin interest payments takes away monies for the infrastructure
of Argentina, and drains it away to the outside, away from the elderly,
the poor, the children, the sick, and all thise in need.

Funny, most of us in the United States didn't know that we are at war
with your country, Nestor. But it seems to be the case.

These years are of interest, because these are the Carter years-
1976-1980. Jimmy Carter, preacher man.......Mr. ex-President of
Peace. You mean that he was busy helping to suck Argentina dry, like
a vampire sucks blood?

Thank you, Nestor, for helping explain imperialism to list members.
The cost? $9,500,000,000 per year to Argentina in interest payments,
on a foreign debt of $200 billion. And for this, we get the lovely
society of The United States that I live in today. Simply amazing!
And the Europeans should be proud, too.
