We will not save the environment until we start considering humans (and the
rest of the ecosystem) more than short term profits. We will all die if we
don't stop destroying the rain forest as it creates 80% of the oxygen. We
need to not burn down rain forest to create charcoal or grasslands for all of
the hamburgers we should not be eating. The powers that be will not stop
this stuff voluntarily. Nothing is too low for them to do. Indians in the
Amazon basin have been hacked to death with machetes or given disease
saturated blankets. We must make them stop. They are on a self destructive
course and taking us with them. This makes me think of the capitalist
tobacco family that had members die from smoking. A high price to pay before
their son figured it out and worked against nicotine addiction. .
