The Sunday Age had an article entitled The Oil Apocalypse which summarized the current situation, with special reference to Australia, and its similarity to previous oil price spikes. It made no mention of deteriorating supply situation and concluded that this was a spike, not a crisis. Fortunately, on the same page, there was an article by their environmental reporter entitled 'Coming soon: The day of reckoning'. She had a sound statement about the coming crisis including the impact on globalization. However, she failed to comment on how vast amounts of hydrogen can be produced.
