>Destroying capitalism is a fine first step. Then what? This is way too abstract. Depends on when capitalism is destroyed. Who destroyed it? How many humans are left? What resources are still around? Etc. The most important thing which is absent from the question is who are you talking about? If you're talking about some kind of movement, which one? Marxists are not part of some kind of worldwide conspiracy with a blueprint for the future AFAIK. Discussing what to do if capitalism vanished now is not very useful, since if it is destroyed one day, the conditions will be very different. What we can maybe talk about is what capitalism makes impossible and what capitalism doesn't make impossible. I don't think anyone is saying that nothing is to be done before capitalism is destroyed. Stan's post illustrates this very well. But I think some of us think that SOME things would be unworkable before the end of capitalism. If you'd want us to do something, just tell us what. With luck we'll be able to agree or disagree on an actual issue and quit abstract flaming. _______________________________________________ Crashlist resources: http://website.lineone.net/~resource_base To change your options or unsubscribe go to: http://lists.wwpublish.com/mailman/listinfo/crashlist
