It looks like today the Intergovernmental Group on Global Warming meeting in China, is going to release a new estimate of the effects of global warming. It is likely to predict that the rise in global temperatures by the end of the century will be several degress higher than previously estimated. The massive and unavoidable effects of this, will not end capitalism in itself, but it will put tremendous pressure for production to be carried under with what Marx called "social foresight", which is a marxist economic principle.
