Yes Yes reluctantly I make the attempt to unsub!
Reluctant because I recognize the sincerity of the members of the list,
and I'd hate to be absent when the breakthought happens!( interesting
typo!)
Thank you for your invitation Mark, and I do enjoy parts, just parts, and
I have learned a little, but I find even the 'ability to skip through or
delete' takes up more time than I can afford, as I use my daily energy
to move forward in my activism to avert/resolve/lighten the effect of
what I DO see as an inevitable collapsing, eroding and dismantling of
life as we know it.
And goodbye to the bad parts, but when the dam wall breaks. Unfortunately
much that is good is also swept away....as an optimist ( and the coming
down of the Berlin Wall is a recurring image for me) I hope enough people
like myself will work locally as they influence and act globally to avert
indeed, the dramatic collapse of the 'dam wall'.
That is my urgency... talking, fiddling while the house burns ( in my
case reading it on the crash list!) is an indulgence, and I keep making
these attempts to unsubb, and as I see, there are others like me, who are
stupidly unsuccessful in doing so the first time round!
I am tempted to say, because I recognize the sincerity here, when
you-all have found the solution(s) let me know and I'll support you!
I shall shortly be on Rob Schaap's continent as a part of my activism,
with much preparation to be done! So your members, ex members are
scattered all over the world indeed, and with my bicontinental (Africa)
experience I am loath to remove myself from such an august list!
Thankyou jo*
