These two have founded crawl-ref and set up the SF page and the mailings 
lists. They have never coded that much but always been around.

These two are heros of Crawl development. Darshan is very busy but around. 
In particular, he is the man behind the tournament. Haran has been rather 
silent since he left university but volunteered to take up tasks. For 
example, he implemented a feature I asked about (specifying decks of cards 
in des files) when I asked for it not so long ago.
With both of these, I'd suggest to only remove them from the active list 
if they repeatedly and forcefully ask for it :)

Are active. Steven is the man behind the makefile black magic. Charles has 
coded Fedhas lately. And the tentacle summon portal spell.
