Hm, this is true (although I wouldn't say it's worth keeping the spell just because there's other ways to do the same abuse). One solution that was suggested on IRC was to make mutagenic corpses undistillable entirely (they're too mutated/glowy/whatever), and/or make mutagenic corpses drop far less often. You could still scum with mutagenic chunks though, just not build up a stockpile of potions. Would that be a suitable fix to make it harder to scum mutations?
