Heh... and a "mace of disruption" was on my pile of unrandarts to add. Your idea of changing Undeadhunter is so much better. I have doubts about the numbers, though. The weapon seems to be useless compared to an ordinary great mace of holy wrath: (since it's not multiplicative unlike holy wrath and old disruption, we need an estimate of the base damage. A rough calculation shows around d48 with decent strength and high skills but no slaying.) Holy wrath: +1 + d(damage*1.5) on all hits Avg: +19 Old disruption: +3d(1+damage*3)/3 on 2/3 hits Avg: +24.3 Current Undeadhunter: +10 + 2d10 on 1/3 hits Avg: +6.6 ... and holy wrath works against demons in addition to the undead. What about reusing the old disruption formula? It was: special_damage += random2avg((1 + (damage_done * 3)), 3); -- 1KB // Microsoft corollary to Hanlon's razor: // Never attribute to stupidity what can be // adequately explained by malice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Simplify data backup and recovery for your virtual environment with vRanger.
