Thanks! Just a suggestion ... python bindings/library (especially if it
can interact with PIL) would be cool for OpenRaster as most graphic
applications use python as a scripting language. Also it would allow me
to integrate OpenRaster in Phatch (photo batch processor).

Hopefully this will be useful to people using OpenRaster today, and
facilitate more widespread usage of the format.
I'll probably commit some other tools as well, like thumbnailer for
