my previous message had a too large attachment and did not come through. peter wrote: > My modest opinion is that the ink-splash does not represent creative > work in the digital age
I've been asked for feedback about website and logo and have given it. I've also stated that I have no particular attachment to the ink splash. that said I felt represented by every single logo and local organization so far. I find your comments offensive. They increase my aversion to the square logo. I don't feel represented by the Bruxelles organization. > Yuv, curious for your remix ! > please post a link to the list, I thought my feedback [0] was clear enough. others have said similar things. A mockup for square heads without ears, eyes, imaginations is at [1]. Where is yours? If feedback insults you, or if you don't intend to take it seriously, don't ask for it. @Femke: sorry, I don't see the dependency. And I can't conenct with the meaning that you are trying to give to the squares. If for you it is mandatory, go ahead, have your event. You'll sure do better than what I would do (cleartext: nothing). @Louis: five years? and where do we stand? where are we going? discussing a logo every year again? maybe it's time for a strategic review. what is the purpose of the meetings? what are we trying to achieve? and what is the derived purpose of the website? are there better ways to achieve those purposes? five years imply continuity. the only continuity I see is that every year again the local organization wants to start things from scratch, and we end up spending time on non-strategic ego issues. I'm bailing out. have fun in Bruxelles. I heard food and beer are great there.
