Hi, We do have a regression test system where we test evey commit against about 11GB of ps/pdf/pcl/pcl x1/svg/xps data we collected over the years (I think the ghostscript people probably have one of the largest collection of strange and wonderful ps/pdf... files) for rendering issues, but since this is a fairly major change which took us 18 months to do, we'd really like somebody try to break it...
So the slides are on (which includes a fair bit of other info I didn't have time to go into), and a windows binary and a source snapshot: http://www.ghostscript.com/~hintak/LGM_Brussels2010_Ghostscript.pdf http://www.ghostscript.com/~hintak/GS872W32-icc-r11301.exe http://www.ghostscript.com/~hintak/gs-r11331-post-icc-r11306-merge+tt.tar.gz Please feel free to throw any strange and winderful postscript/pdf files against it. I'll possibly keep doing snapshots from time to time where time permits... and of course people can go bleeding-edge with svn. It has been fun to be in LGM, and meeting some of the most interesting people (including tight-pants man Eric!). I filed two bugs against a file I got yesterday from one of you: http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=691352 http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=691353 The W3C guys asked about ghostsvg, which does exist - it is part of ghostpdl (which started its life as ghostpcl for pcl andpcl xl then due to +xps and +svg, got renamed) and you can get it from the the ghostscript web site.
