Hi all! Well it's highly optimistic prices. Often people reserve tickets ~one month before conference. >From Moscow tickets on next month start from 1300 USD (unknown air companies) and from 2000 USD for companies like Lufthansa, KLM, AirFrance etc. From Kiev - 1600/2500 USD
Such travel expenses are more than price for one week resort on Maldives or Seishell islands in All Inclusive option (info from local tour operators). If LGM'ers wish some exotics (I think it's a main reason for Vietnam) and to combine a trip to the conference there is no problem organizing LGM in classic touristic countries like Egypt/Cyprus/Turkey/Israel (last option may be not a good for human rights lawyers). Any large travel company can help in this issue and provides additional discount due to large number of participators. Also by this way all accommodation issues will be resolved automatically. It's not my personal invention - a lot of conferences/meetings are organized using travel companies from these countries.
