SO not checking stock available from warehouse SO is being dispatched

Bug description:
V6.0.3
Created a SO - when adding a line, the inventory lookup correctly only shows
stock available for that warehouse. But when adding a line the quantity is
validated against the total company virtual stock, not the warehouse virtual
stock, and if this is exceeded the error message values are again based on the
company stock not the local stock quantities.
This is not acceptable in a multi-warehouse company.
