Sorin Miroiu gave more information on the question: I tried to comment out the line with gdata in the setup.py file. But now the install process gets stuck on feedparser Downloading http://feedparser.googlecode.com/files/feedparser-5.1.zip error: http://feedparser.googlecode.com/files/feedparser-5.1.zip returned a bad status line. The server might be down, Is it working for you ? I even tried on a broswer but with no success.
