Hello,
This issue is due to a recent modification of account_demo.xml file at
revision 5776 by Fabien Pinckaers (adding an automatic installation of
chart of accounts for the SaaS). It has been chosen to slighty modify
demo data. Regenerating periods already generated by demo data is not
considered as a real bug. I therefore mark this bug as won't fix.

account create monthly period

Bug description:
Hello,
Account >> config >> fiscal years >> edit exiting.
When I create new db with demo data or without. I setup chart of accounts
with installation wizard.
Now when I have one the created fiscal year and edit it and when press
on "create monthly periods" it generate more periods even right
period exists.
Here some problem. Need right validation.
I have attached screenshot.
