I still have the problem, but it only happen if I choose the option Save File. I mean after Save File the opening window simply vanish and it does not ask for a location to save. But if I choose the Open with option (set by default to Libreoffice calc in my machine) it works.
I tested the same behaviour in my two machines, one with ubuntu server 11.10 running lxde and the other with xubuntu 11.10 of course with xfce. Both machines with firefox 9.0.1. In other cases (downloading stuff from the internet) I do not have this problem. Only fails in this case.
