Hi Kyle, This update function only works for minor releases, not for major or LTS releases. For major and LTS releases, OpenERP provides upgrade services through OpenERP Enterprise. See the migration process here: http://migration.openerp.com/

What I found, was that I could not possibly update using update=all. First, it was telling me that none of my modules were found, and claimed no LSB modules found. Unmet dependencies. From what I have read, I was under the understanding that I could just run update=all "its so easy" but I have much trouble. I will post traceback soon.
