I do not enter anything there,
Every posting ends up (and must do so) in journal item view. (Invoices,bank,
...)
currently it is possible to change account, debit, credit , name, date
making an amount error - the all move lines become unbalanced of a posted move
!!!
all of this is not documented
IIRC there was a check which allowed to "only change some unimportant
fields"
currently it is possible to change debit/credit amounts of move lines
which are based on invoices - this is a NO GO
I agree this could be a wellcomed feature to correct some unimportant
errors by experienced users but it is not what accountants expect.
Just imagine printing a report in a multiuser envirenment by one user,
modifying the move lines ba another, and print it again
this creates unexplanable differences.
the "normal" way is to create a new move + move lines to cerrect the
situation.
for this a NEW functionality "correction" - which creates the same move
with debit/credit reversed and duplicates the original to allow changes
- this would be user friendly and compliant to fiscal requirements
