The date when you process the inventory should not matter at all. All the stock
moves related to it must have an effective date at the date of the inventory.
You may give the moves a creation date that matches the moment you confirm the
inventory, that does not matter. But the stock variation has to happen at
exactly the date of the inventory.
For example, our factory has quite a large inventory that takes 3 days to key
in. The stock moves must all be dated the date of the inventory, not 3 days
later.

You may call this a wishlist item rather than a bug, because the current
behavior is somewhat consistent.
But clearly the current behavior is wrong. This (and Bug #588154) make me
think the inventory feature needs re-engineering.

Title:
[6.0] Stock inventory not take DATE to calucate stock-move qty.

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  New

Bug description:
  Hello.

When we confirm a stock. inventory.

action_confirm method is not taking in account "date" from
sotck.inventory object, and update qtys in the moment of confirmation.

IMHO this is wrong, i expect that date say _when_ the inventory was
taken in this way amount to correct shuld be in this before this date.

  Regards:

PS: attach videos with better explanation, and document with kardex
  expected.
