Dear all, Version 3.2 of the CIDOC CRM will be released for a 3-month ISO committee draft ballot (CD) before the end of the month. It will be on the SC 4 site on the ISO server and on the SC 4 website maintained by NISO. This is the next stage in the ISO process and will provide us with a much higher profile within ISO. An ISO "CD", though not yet a standard, is a recognised ISO document which can be referred to.
Modifications and enhancements which have been made to the CRM since version 3.2 can be incorporated after the CD ballot during the "Draft International Standard" (DIS) phase. The CD ballot is distributed to all members of TC46. National representatives vote on the CD, liaisons and members with observer status can make comments.
