Dear Lenhart,
We would like to start a work item on CRM-MPEG7 this autumn. Interested
parties are kindly invited to the meeting in Heraklion, end of October.
The extensions for MPEG7 cannot be part of the CRM as ISO21127
for administrational reasons. We would like to keep the notion of
modularity, and need a notion of ownership and authority, so that
someone is responsible for maintaining the model and its correctness.
We want, however, to create systematically a set of extensions to
the CRM, and then decide who will be the formal owner. This should
be done by a committee of representatives of MPEG7 and CIDOC.
If the MPEG-7_CIDOC_CRM.rdfs can be made valid, we would like to
point to it from the CRM Website.
If you have finished the Czech version, please send it to us for publication
on the Website. We would like to validate all translations of the CRM. It would
be helpful, if you could find some reviewers of your translation. In the
sequence,
we should discuss any question of ambiguous interpretation.

Now I have studied the extensions for multimedia proposed by Jane Hunter
in 2002

and used at least in Museo24 project (http://www.museo24.fi,
http://www.artio.cz/download/museo24_louvre_article.pdf)
I see thiese extensions as very useful (on my level of knowledge :-).
My questions:
Do you plan to include this directly into CIDOC CRM?
If not, why not?
If yes, is it available?

containes some minor formal mistakes, maybe some newer version is used
instead.
