The Prof. Mizoguchi (Osaka University) has published a interesting note
titled "A Solution to the Continuant(Endurant) vs. Occurrent(Perdurant)
issue -- Endurantism vs. Perdurantism --" at

I think the note's conclusion ("Continuant is a role in the context of
process") is aligned with CIDOC CRM approach that recognizes the
information/knowledge organization importance of events over 'persistent'
entities.
