Yes, this was what we had actually in mind. The scope note is wrong.
Will be interesting to discuss planned events as extension of the CRM.
I'd suggest to make a remark in the scope note, that appropriate extensions may
deal
with planned events, planned and realized events, planned and not realized
events
(what is the notion of identity of a planned event, that may persist with the
realization?)

Scope Note: This property describes the relationship between an E7
Activity and an activity that it is intended as a preparation for.
This may involve activities in preparation for other activities, or
orders and other organisational activities, which lead to some other
specific activity.
P20 had specific purpose (was purpose of) does not imply that an
activity succeeded in achieving its aims. For example, dubious
accounting practices may be carried out with the specific purpose of
enhancing share values and enabling a take-over bid. The specific
purpose remains the same even if the strategy fails and the company goes
bankrupt instead.
