Hi, On hearing the announcement of the LODatio Linked Data search service [1], I rushed in to find out how prevalent resources mentioning people as E21 might be. The results were interesting, but not in the way I expected. I got no hits for my query [2], but on pointing this out to the project team, their response was that I was using the 'wrong' prefix: I should have been using the Erlangen CRM domain. With that change, I got 744 hits (admittedly all from two sources: Archives Hub and OpenLink's dbpedia). I have pointed out to them some counter-examples which use the official domain (e.g. British Museum) - perhaps group members can notify them of any other CRM-filled Linked Data resources which they could usefully index for us.
Best wishes, Richard [1] http://lodatio.informatik.uni-kiel.de/ [2] http://lodatio.informatik.uni-kiel.de/?query=%27PREFIX%20rdf%3A%20%3Chttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F1999%2F02%2F22-rdf-syntax-ns%23%3E%20%0APREFIX%20crm%3A%20%3Chttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.cidoc-crm.org%2Fcidoc-crm%2F%3E%0ASELECT%20%3Fx%20%0AWHERE%20%7B%0A%09%3Fx%20a%20crm%3AE21_Person%20.%0A%7D%27 -- *Richard Light*
