Hello all, The LRMoo WG is pleased to be able to share an "almost" complete draft of LRMoo (v. 0.9), integrating decisions made during SIG 53 in May. We are starting to see the end of the project!

The LRMoo WG would particularly appreciate any comments you might have on them, and particularly any issues you see that should be included in our discussions in Rome. Additions include the following: * There is new introductory text and diagrams. Is it clear and helpful? What other topics should be covered in the introductory sections? * The mapping from IFLA LRM to LRMoo has been completely updated. Does it seem accurate? * Hierarchies and transition/migration information from FRBRoo 2.4 to LRMoo have been completed for classes. Is the presentation of this information this clear? (Particularly the migration instructions.) Similar sections will be provided for the properties in the next round. * The revised examples that were presented separately at previous SIGs have now been integrated into the text. Any comments are appreciated. Leftover business from SIG 53 includes issue 594: https://cidoc-crm.org/Issue/ID-594-semantically-replacing-recording-event-and-externalization-event Please comment using the specific thread. Also note issue 572: https://cidoc-crm.org/Issue/ID-572-r34-has-validity-period The FRBRoo property, R34 has validity period, is applicable much more broadly than its original definition in FRBRoo as indicating only the validity of Knowledge Organisation Systems (a class that is now destinied to be deprecated in LRMoo). Plans, laws, standards, etc. also have periods of validity. However, there is no conclusion regarding where, in the broader CRM ecosystem, this property best belongs. Ideally, this property would be re-homed prior to the final approval of LRMoo. All ideas welcome.
