Certainly, ppc seems to build happily against the sanitized
asm-powerpc.
This one is already in the book, IIRC. At least for the kernel in the
boot section. As I already mentioned, I haven't gone any further than that.
I updated my repo in the last couple of hours, and for ppc section
5.4 has 'cp -Rv include/asm-ppc /tools/include/asm'. Section 10.5
also uses asm-ppc. I'm not talking about how we build the kernel,
but about how we install the headers!
