I certainly understand your frustration, but these are the constraints we must work with - unless we have unlimited bandwidth, we must rely on mirrors for distribution - unless we have unlimited disk space, we must ensure our filesystems only contain pertinent files - unless Hudson works flawlessly over a shared filesystem, we must change the way we use it I'm sorry -- I really am. We're doing our best to work around these constraints, and we're certainly open to suggestions. Although we don't encourage projects to allow Hudson writing to their downloads area, we don't prohibit it since we understand the convenience this practice offers. If you feel this is the right solution for your project, then by all means, go for it. Denis
