For those new here, we have this document every year. It is about the same
as previous years, but at least one person from each project should read it
carefully to now what's expected (probably release engineer, or project
lead, if not both). It tries to detail day by day (well, week by week) what
needs to be done between now and the release scheduled for 4th Wednesday of
June.

I am well known for typing dates and times wrong, so if something seems
"off", don't hesitate to ask.

There's basically only a few major things to do, or learn, between now and
the release:

A. Archive old releases and git rid of old builds.

B. Learn how to "publish" your downloads and repositories, but leave them
"invisible" until the actual release day. This allows the mirroring system
to get fully populated over 4 to 7 days.

C. Learn how to use the various forms of mirror-redirection in URLS
(p2.mirrorsURL for p2) and download.php?/filepath for zip or archive files.

D. Get your docs in the "info center".

As always, ask if something isn't clear.

Thanks,
