David posted a comment in a bug re: testing Mirrors, and I thought it would be beneficial to repost it here.
If you're testing mirrors, please do so from a non-eclipse.org server. The Mirrors URL is designed to *not* return mirrors if accessed from within the eclipse.org network. This prevents Hudson and Build from downloading content from external mirrors when download.eclipse.org is sitting in the same cabinet. Denis
