I just noticed that 20 mirrors are currently pulling down download.eclipse.org/eclipse/cbi, which appears to be 29G in size. This is obviously consuming a large chunk of our bandwidth, as it represents 1.5TB of data transfer for 50 mirror servers.

Apologies if download.eclipse.org appears to crawl as a result. If your project is currently not using mirrors, you're placing unneeded stress on our bandwidth as well as on your poor users who are struggling to fetch your bits.

For what it's worth, if you have a very large volume of data to put on the download server, Friday afternoons are the best time, since much of our bandwidth is unused during the weekend, thus allowing mirrors to sync up without much impact.
