What do I mean by ready? Well, what do you mean by successful build? :) I just meant to remind everyone we were down to "the last week of M6" and give a little news.
If your new, what's your +n day? That's basically the day you _have_ to be done (not only a successful build, but a correct and final build for that +n category, for this milestone). I emphasized "have to be done" above, since it does not mean you have to wait until then to contribute a "warm up" ... even if not your final build, you can contribute what you have now, this week, and make sure everything still works, and then put in your final, M6 stuff on your designated +n day. And by "still works", I mean that it correctly "aggregates" with all the other contributions. If you haven't learned yet what +n means, or aggregation build, etc., then you'll need to catch up with the documentation on the wiki, at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Kepler In particular, http://wiki.eclipse.org/Kepler/Simultaneous_Release_Plan and http://wiki.eclipse.org/Simrel/Contributing_to_Simrel_Aggregation_Build Welcome to the Simultaneous Release! Feel free to ask specific questions here ... if not answered in the docs on those wiki pages ... and I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction. Sent by: [email protected] Hey, I am sorry if this was discussed before. I am a recently assigned release engineer and I have been doing as much catching up as possible during the last 2 weeks. Does this mean that we should have successful builds before 3/20? Would be great if u could specify what u meant by ready. Thanks a lot.
