You should not host any third-party code at eclipse.org, but you should plan on contributing the third-party library to Orbit. Isn't it enough to just add the about.html to the file archive? FWIW, AFAIK Orbit doesn't recompile anything. This is correct but the reason is org.sonatype.m2e.mavenarchiver is not an Eclipse project. It's a required dependency of m2e-wtp, has such must be provided by the Eclipse infra. Apart from being signed with the EF certificate, it has not been modified from the original 0.15.0.201207090125 version. Is it a big deal?
