Hey Folks. The Luna release date will be upon us before we know it.
Here are some important dates: Dec 20/2013 - Opt-in deadline Feb 14/2014 - CQ Submission deadline for Luna May 23/2014 - IP Log submission deadline June 4/2014 - PMC-approved Review materials submitted to EMO June 11/2014 - Luna Uber Release review June 25/2014 - Luna Release I've already updated the Luna wiki page with this information. The Dec 20 opt-in deadline has passed. All projects that have announced their participation have been recorded on projects.eclipse.org: https://projects.eclipse.org/releases/luna Please confirm that your project is listed. If it is missing, please contact your PMC for assistance. By now, all participating projects should have their plans in place. Per the Eclipse Development Process, project plans are to be created at the beginning of a release cycle and updated as necessary during the cycle. The requirement release cycle is summarized/described here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/HOWTO/Release_Cycle Release records in the Project Management Interface (PMI) should have a description of the release. Don't bother with meta information like "this document provides..." or anything like that; just include a short paragraph that describes the main focus(es) of the release. I prefer that the PMI be used to capture plans and release documentation. This is not a requirement this year, but will likely be a requirement for next year. There is documentation in the wiki: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Project_Management_Infrastructure/Release_Metadata The next important date is the Contribution Questionnaire (CQ) submission deadline. Please make every effort to enter the CQs required by the Luna release of your project by this date. Be sure to indicate that the CQ is required for Luna to ensure that it is appropriately prioritized by the IP Team. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Wayne --
