Never mind. In a completely ptp-naked eclipse i can see it. I guess there's something about when you can see repository content based on what is loaded into the workbench already that I don't understand. Or I forgot. They say memory loss and retirement are related... Sigh.
(From a workbench with an older version of ptp, when i look at the releases/maintenance repo i cannot see "Parallel Tools Platform" under "General Purpose". Sometimes I can see it in releases/kepler but not releases/maintenance even. Doesn't make sense. I assumed that i could always see things that are newer than my current version, at least. Oh well. ) ...Beth Beth Tibbitts [email protected] On Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 9:12 AM, Beth Tibbitts <[email protected]> wrote: > OK I saw the PTP components get picked up in the build (console) before it > was done, and it was the correct version. > I see it in the Repo reports too. > > But I don't see it in the repository > http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance/ when i open it with > Help>Install New software. > > To be honest most of our users just use the parallel package or update > something newer from our own repo, so we don't check it as often as we > should. > but what are we doing wrong? > I don't see it by unchecking "Group items by category" either. > > The package got built as usual and I'm downloading Markus' latest build to > check, but it's probably fine. > > ...Beth > > Beth Tibbitts > [email protected] > > > On Wed, Feb 12, 2014 at 8:22 PM, David M Williams < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> Please test and let us know if something did not get "picked up" as >> expected. >> (And remembering past surprises, this includes things missing, at too low >> of a level, and things at too high of a version level!) >> http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance/ >> >> >> Repo reports are looking better >> build.eclipse.org/simrel/kepler/reporeports/ >> >> As I'm sure everyone knows ... one more chance ... next week's RC4 is our >> final build for Kepler SR2, to be followed by a "quiet week" buffer before >> formal release. >> >> Thanks, >> _______________________________________________ >> cross-project-issues-dev mailing list >> [email protected] >> https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/cross-project-issues-dev >> >> >
