Yes the EE 1.8 was there from the beginning - the change to make things behave correctly was http://git.eclipse.org/c/efxclipse/org.eclipse.efxclipse.git/commit/?id=8eb51cf545d522674b290afe6e14475ebafe195c What strikes me is that this all worked flawless for weeks and suddenly started breaking a few days ago but there was no change in tycho-version, signing plugin, ... . Not sure when the server was upgraded to java8u40 but I think that was not done this week but some weeks before?
