Hello Konstantin,

Sorry about the delay in responding.

As you've noticed, DTP has been dormant since Luna (DTP 1.12). DTP had
already been a "mature" project for some time, but due to changing
priorities of the companies involved, by the time Luna was released, I was
the only committer left on the project, and I didn't have much time to
devote to it. So for Mars we just continued to include 1.12 and kept our
fingers crossed. And that worked fine for Mars.

But that's clearly not fine for Neon. So I'll do whatever needs to be
done to get DTP working again with Neon.

BTW, DTP is not built using the Eclpse CBI. (An effort was started to
move DTP over to the CBI, but was not completed.) It is still built by
Actuate Corp.

Regards,
Brian

Chirp, chirp go the crickets…

A question regarding the aggregation build. I thought it was designed to
catch issues like this, but I don’t see any failures on Hudson.

https://hudson.eclipse.org/simrel/

I see that platform has contributed their M2 build, which should have
caused aggregation to fail on DTP and others…

Thanks,

- Konstantin

Has anyone reached out to DTP team yet regarding Neon M2 compatibility? I
haven’t seen anything on cross-project and dtp-dev list is silent as well.
DTP last released with Luna (version 1.12) and that’s what’s currently
contributed to Neon aggregation, but it’s not compatible with the M2 build
of the platform.
