Hi all,
For information, Sirius will move from version 4.0 (contributed to
Neon.0 and Neon.1) to version 4.1 for Neon.2.
In version 4.0 last June we introduced support for properties view
definitions, but it was considered experimental at the time. The version
in Sirius 4.1 released last month is much better, no longer marked as
experimental, and is the one that will be supported in the future, hence
the decision to contribute that to Neon.2.
This will require upgrading some other components too, that are used
underneath by Sirius or that depend on it:
* EEF will move from version 1.6.0 to 1.7.2
* Acceleo will move from 3.6.5 to 3.6.6
* Ecore Tools will move version 3.1.0 to 3.2.0
The patch which makes all these changes is available at
https://git.eclipse.org/r/84811 and will probably be merged tomorrow or
monday if no problems are detected.
Regards,
Pierre-Charles David (Obeo)
