Pay attention that the release cycle for 2021-12 is a little bit
different than the classical one. M1 is one week shorter than usual in
order to release 2021-12 not too close to the Christmas period. I
updated the schedule last week. Please have in mind the new dates:
2021-12 M1 Friday, October 08, 2021 10/01 to 10/08
Opt-in deadline (new projects only)
Create your release record (for new releases)
CQ Submission deadline (new third-party content)
2 weeks from 2021-09 GA
2021-12 M2 Friday, October 29, 2021 10/22 to 10/29 3 weeks
from M1
2021-12 M3 Friday, November 19, 2021 11/12 to 11/19
IP Log submission deadline
3 weeks from M2
2021-12 RC1 Friday, November 26, 2021 11/19 to 11/26
No new features and APIs after this date!
Release Review materials due
New and Noteworthy entries due
1 week from M3
2021-12 RC2 Friday, December 3, 2021 11/26 to 12/03 1 week
from RC1
Quiet period 12/03 to 12/07 No builds during "quiet period". It is
assumed all code is done by the end of RC2.
