[cross-project-issues-dev] Issues with signing algorithms

Hi,

As reported in 
https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues/2612 we are 
seeing issues with our signing services after upgrading our base image 
from JDK11 to JDK17 (dependencies require JDK17).

This can lead to signing issues when installing new content in older 
versions of Eclipse (e.g. Eclipse IDE 2020-06).

We are looking into providing a workaround ASAP.
