Guys, Last week was a very exciting week. Two of our research papers got accepted in SIGCOMM VISA09 and SIGCOMM WREN09. This year, SIGCOMM will to be held in Barcelona, Spain from August 17-21 and has four focus areas. Two of them are on Virtualization and Enterprise Networking which is where we had submitted a paper on the virtualization and flows respectively. We will make these papers available online very soon once we submit the camera ready copy to the ACM editors.
So comes the next question - where is the party? Well the party is during the Java One and Community One on June 1 and 2. Did I tell you that Community One is FREE and there is a big party in the evening. I think Crossbow gets formally announced as part of Community One itself and we will have a talk on Crossbow titled Open Networking with Crossbow on June 1st at 2.40pm and a BOF on Crossbow on June 2nd at 5.30pm. We will also be hosting a Demo Pod during Java One. Crossbow is a more visible initiative but the last few months were pretty fruitful since not only we delivered Crossbow, but also several parts of Clearview and Volo amongst others. So please come by, help if you can or just enjoy the sessions and enrich yourself and just celebrate. Let me know if you are able to help out in demo, manning the booths and answering questions.
