Basically quite often I find a host naming convention to be xxxx-1.domain xxxx-2.domain xxxx-3.domain and when using zones usually I try to name a zone xxxx-1, etc. It would be nice to be able to name vnic's assigned to a zone exactly after a zone name. Sometimes hostnames do not end-up with a number and then again it would be nice to be able to have vnics with exactly the same name.
