Hello, John, I did some test just now and didn't find any problem. However, the test system I have is b76 and with only e1000g NIC-s.
Could you please give me some more informations? like how did you setup the network in global zone and the exclusive-IP zone? Actually I am not sure I understand this sentence: For the primary nic there is no option to set its ip and hostname. Best, Donghai. ----- Original Message ----- From: John-Paul Drawneek <j...@drawneek.demon.co.uk> Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2007 10:22 pm Subject: [crossbow-discuss] b75 zone ip-exclusive problem To: crossbow-discuss at opensolaris.org > got a problem with b75 that the zone with ip-exclusive just takes > the identity of the global zone. > > For the primary nic there is no option to set its ip and hostname. > > When i change the host name and ip the hostname does not change and > the networking goes weird for both the zone and global zone. > > sparc > eri > qfe > > There any bugs about or should this work fine? > > > This message posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > crossbow-discuss mailing list > crossbow-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/crossbow-discuss >
