We have recently (Sept 24) uploaded crossbow DVD image at:

In addition to bug fixes since the last snapshot, we have also added the
observability components. readme.tar.gz (from the above location) contains
additional details, including readmes, draft man pages etc.
Also, included in these images is an early prototype[1] for building VNMs
(http://opensolaris.org/os/project/vnm). During installation, please select
"Entire Distribution plus OEM support" as it includes a couple of additional
packages required for VNM.
If you have questions etc. please let us know. Also, if you have any trouble
with the images themselves.
[1] The VNM prototype is in the form of a Webmin module - "Solaris Virtual
Network Machines". The intent is to provide building blocks using the
features of Crossbow (vNICs, observability features etc.) along with existing
mechanisms like Solaris Containers etc. to create Virtual Network Machines
(http://opensolaris.org/os/project/vnm/vnm_admin). The prototype has sample
configurations for building a basic VM and a simple router (RIP) VNM. We
would like to extend the tool/module to build/manage VNMs with different
functionalities like routers (quagga etc.), firewall etc. with the ability
to re-configure as needed. VNM.README in readme.tar.gz contains further
information about the VNM bits. Please use vnm-discuss at opensolaris.org for
