The bridged network connectivity option in VirtualBox shouldn't be impacted by the layer-2 bridging support integrated in build 124. There appears to be a recent post on VirtualBox forums about this issue: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10470 I also see Gordon has started a new thread there, I believe that is the best place to start discussions for issues seen with VirtualBox.
