Hi, i just tried to get one of the new Intel 10 GE cards (10 Gigabit AT2 Server Adapter - 10GE with RJ45 connector, single port) with the 82598EB controller, up and running. I upgraded to the latest dev version of ixgbe (SUNWixgbe at 0.5.11,5.11-0.125:20091013T070442Z), but ixgbe still respons with '[ID 611667 kern.warning] WARNING: ixgbe1: Failed to identify hardware'. With the prior release of that NIC card (just 'AT' instead of 'AT2') with the same controller i've seen no problems at all. Any newer (experimental) driver versions available somewhere i can try ????
