I have a problem with using a vnic on OpenSolaris build 128a. I issued the following command to create a vnic on an existing physical interface:
dladm create-vnic -l e1000g0 e1000g1 This works fine until I reboot. After I reboot I cannot ping any host on the network. The only host I can reach is the one I actually give the new vnic to - a zone. If I delete the vnic everything starts working again without a reboot. What am I doing wrong?
