There is no Intel Tizen 2.2 ☺

The reason is we got stuck into an unusable mix of hw and sw. Samsung removed
the support for hw without the physical navigation buttons (back, home…) and
Josephine didn’t have it. As PR3 as considered old and ZTE Geek (Clovertrail)
was to be brought up, the efforts remained as Tizen 2.1 for Josephine/PR3 and
2.2 for ZTE Geek.

However the ZTE Geek is not widely available and it’s still under development,
the last SXT meeting minutes were clear that we still have some bugs :-/

Subject: Re: [Crosswalk-dev] [T-E-C] Tizen APIs for 2.1 and 2.2

I guess we could rephrase.

a) What does it take for QA to test the new APIs from Tizen 2.2, even with
Tizen 2.1 images.
b) What is blocking QA for testing on Tizen 2.2?

Is there any plan for moving to 2.2 and successive releases?

Hey there,

I was just wondering what are our concrete plans for working on Tizen >= 2.2
APIs on tizen-extensions-crosswalk.
The API specs got updated during the past 2 or 3 months and several APIs for
Tizen 2.2 are now available (for instance, Bluetooth health stuff, Notification
using LEDs, etc).

However, judging from QA emails, we are still running Crosswalk (and the tests)
on Tizen 2.1.

I wanted to clarify how worthy it is right now for us to be landing Tizen 2.2
APIs. Can QA test that?
It seems TCT tests already support some Tizen 2.2 APIs, but what about the
*manual tests? Does QA even run that?

Cheers,
jesus

* manual tests are the ones you don't run automatically. You need to actually
test something on the device and see if what was expected happened. :)
